THE ART OF GRIEF BEREAVEMENT STORIES 2021
Working creatively with five families who had been effected by drug and alcohol misuse this project uses video, photography and recorded narrative to create 5 minute digital journals documenting bereavement, living loss and grief. The short films commissioned be used by Cornwall Council and produced by Turn Consultancy to illustrate the complexities of families effected by this kind of loss. They will also be used to break the stigma attached to such deaths and the terminology often used to describe individuals drug related issues. My role as an artist was to find a way to tell each story creatively through working closely in partnership with each family.
