THE MOURNER: LAMENTATION IN DUST, 2019
This work was commissioned by ANTIfestival 2019 as part of a five day performance festival. The Mourner: Lamentation in Dust consisted of a 5 day performance dressed in black with a mourning veil sweeping and collecting the fragments that remained in a disused factory space in Kuopio, Finland. The mourner ordered the fragments and made a cemetery in dust that she tended and cared for as part of the performance.

Invited studio guest to Trewarveneth studio, Borlaise Smart Trust to exhibit a collection of ceramic objects and charcoal drawings that appear as though they have been washed up on an unseen tide. A tide from a dream that lies just out of reach.
ETHEREAL TIDE, GWITHIAN CHAPEL RESIDENCY, 2025
These objects rest within pools of porcelain dust on the floor of the chapel like an ethereal tide line. My hope is that the alien like objects evoke a fragile, porcelain wasteland of exposed forms that invite the audience to reflect on states of vulnerability, transience and loss. These works continue to explore my deep connection to grief, creating pieces that are delicate and fragile and elicit a quiet sense of sorrow.
